Every person who has contact with or interacts with someone that has ASD needs to have an understanding of sensory issues. A sensory issue can be hypersensitivity or hyposensitivity. Hypersensitivity occurs when the stimuli/sensations coming in are too much to take, like wise hyposensitivity is when it's not enough. Not every person has the same sensory issue, parents and teachers need to find what their child needs to be as comfortable as possible.
